Mica

Optically flat and elastic in nature, mica occurs naturally. It looks translucent and contains the highest amount of silica. It is composed of aluminum, silicate, water, manganese, iron, and potassium. Mainly used to prevent cracks by acting as wadding in the gypsum, mica is used for many other purposes.
